我是安琪拉，泰晤士中文學校的校長，這是一所位於倫敦的專門中文學校。
我們致力於幫助那些希望孩子學習中文，但因時間、資源或人脈等因素無法全力支持的家庭。
我出生在台灣，後來搬到倫敦攻讀碩士學位。在倫敦的小學擔任中文老師期間，我遇到了我的丈夫，最終留在這裡並建立了家庭。當我們的孩子還小的時候，我們的時間在台北和倫敦之間分配，但隨著他們長大，我開始擔心他們會失去對我出生國語言和文化的欣賞。這促使我創辦了 TCC，從早期的一個班級開始，我們穩步擴展，現在已經在倫敦西部和西南部的金斯敦到肯辛頓等地授課。
儘管我們擁有一支出色的教師團隊，我仍然積極擔任 TCC 的教師，並且是一名經過認證的漢語作為第二語言教師（TCSOL）。

我們的願景
在 TCC，我們的目標是幫助孩子在支持性和鼓舞人心的環境中學中文，使他們能夠準確、熟練且自信地進行交流。
我們相信每個人都應該有機會學習這種全球重要的語言，而如今的機會比以往任何時候都更為豐富。
我們的價值觀
我們相信嚴肅的樂趣。
孩子們在受到啟發和享受學習時表現最佳，但這與「胡鬧」是有區別的。如果我們只做自己喜歡的事情，就無法在追求目標的道路上取得進展。
因此，在我們努力使課程變得有趣和吸引人的同時，我們也希望學生能夠認真對待自己的學習，並通過課程不斷進步。
我們相信定期的課程和結構化的學習。
我們理解父母和照顧者的生活繁忙，因此在選擇課外活動時可能會傾向於追求最大的靈活性。然而，我們相信學生能夠從結構化和定期的學習中獲益。
當然，學生有時可能需要缺席，但我們認為「插班」的模式不利於進步。因此，我們遵循每週課程的學期模式。
我們相信成長心態，而非固定心態。
擁有成長心態的人認為智力、能力和天賦是可以學習和提升的，並相信努力能夠帶來成就。
學習另一種語言可能會面臨挑戰，但我們堅信，只要在支持和鼓勵的環境中，透過定期和反覆的努力，任何人都能夠精通普通話。

We're super lucky to work with some of the brightest (and nicest!) teachers in London. All of our language teachers are native speakers, and are all of our team are highly experienced in working with children.
Jessie - Chinese Tutor
A hugely experienced teacher of both Chinese and English Jessie has taught in schools and universities in Taiwan and here in London!
Jessie also holds an MA in Applied Linguistics and a BA in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language as well as attending Mandarin Summer Camp at Saginaw State University in the USA.
Sylvia - Chinese Tutor
(Mandarin & Cantonese)
A native speaker with a Master's in Chinese Language and Literature from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Sylvia brings over 10 years experience across schools in Hong Kong including IB schools. Trained in Positive Education and Social Emotional Learning, she takes a warm, student-centred approach to every lesson.
Jocelyn - Chinese Tutor
A native Mandarin speaker and accredited lecturer by Taiwan's Ministry of Education, Jocelyn holds an MBA in International Business and is currently completing her MSc at UCL. She brings a structured, analytical approach to teaching and is passionate about helping students build confidence and fluency.
Iris - Maths & Chinese
An experienced teacher of both Chinese and Mathematics, Iris specialises in creating supportive and engaging lessons for students of all ages and abilities.
In Maths she prepares students for 7+, 10+, and 11+ entrance exams, and she teaches Chinese with a patient, encouraging approach.
Sangeeth - Maths Tutor
A UCL Economics and Statistics graduate with A* in Maths and Further Maths, Sangeeth has been tutoring since 2020 and has helped students gain places at top Russell Group universities and grammar schools.
Sangeeth teaches Maths from KS3 to A-Level across all major exam boards.
Angela - Head Teacher
Born in Taiwan and educated in London, Angela took over running TCC to make high-quality Mandarin tuition accessible to families who want their children to grow up bilingual.
An accredited Teacher of Chinese as a Second Language (TCSOL), she remains active as a teacher alongside leading the TCC team.
